Grande conférence publique (Public Lecture)

“Histoire des populations, génétique et recherche biomédicale” by Dr. Lluis Quintana-Murci, Institut Pasteur, Paris

"Health,  History,  and Customer-Powered Research at 23andMe" by Dr. Joanna Mountain, 23andMe

The topic of the symposium is of great importance to the medical community, but also to the general public. How ancestry impacts disease diagnostic and treatment, and what the scientific community does to ensure equitable access, is a question that should be discussed not only among scientists and community leaders, but also openly with the general public. This Grande conférence publique will offer public lectures from two world-leading scientists explaining the challenges and opportunities created by genetic diversity in biomedical research.
